The Very First Sphynx...
Toronto Canada, 1966, it was a dark and stormy night–maybe not, but one thing is for sure, the first hairless cat was born. They named it appropriately, Prune.
We call it a Sphynx, or a Spinks, or a Canadian Hairless - there are a few dozen ways to call it - I prefer UGLY. You would think we would have seen this kind of cat around in history - leads me to wonder what made the 60's so different. Hmmmm just what was everyone doing so much of back then–we'll never know right?
